Situated just a ten minute walk south of Norwich City Centre, the King's Arms is a traditional city pub attracting a varied clientele and offering thirteen real ales of all styles including pale, golden beers, through to mild, stouts and porters from many regional and microbreweries both local and farther afield. A selection of genuine imported draught lagers and cider and a range of bottled Belgian beers are also on offer. We have a comprehensive wine list of new world wines and over thirty Scottish and Irish malts.
There is no music, machines, pool or darts but this adds to, rather than detracts from, the great atmosphere - the King's Arms is often described by regulars and newcomers alike as 'a proper local'. The pub is a favourite with Norwich City fans before and after games - but real ale drinking away fans are always welcome to join us.
Football, rugby and cricket are popular on our wide screen TV in the main bar and we have a conservatory, beer garden and patio area.
A range of light meals and bar snacks are available between 11am and 3pm, Monday to Saturday and from 12noon until 4pm on Sundays. In the evenings customers are welcome to order in food from the many local take-aways (most of which deliver to the pub!) and we will provide the plates, cutlery, napkins and condiments so that you can enjoy your meal in the comfort of the bar or conservatory.
